Estepp Energy has a fleet of tractor trailers and a logistics division that delivers various brands of fuel (Shell, Marathon, BP, and others) to gas stations throughout central and southern Kentucky. The retail arm of the business operates 11 Estepp Shell locations (including 4 in Somerset) and plans to continue to grow by building new sites, acquiring other stores, and improving the customer experience at its existing network of stations.

Estepp Energy is a locally owned, family business that truly embodies the slogan “We are KY Proud”.  Steve Estepp learned the c-store and fuel business from the ground up: working the cash register, stocking coolers, pulling weeds and all the other jobs “that make a convenience store go,” with his father, Steve E. Estepp, who operated convenience stores in the Lexington area starting in 1975.

The Estepps have been “keeping convenience cool” in Kentucky for almost 50 years and are blessed to have one of the best teams in the industry. Estepp Energy employees about 175 people company-wide with about 40 of the employees being in the Somerset Pulaski County area.

Estepp Energy believes in investing in their employees, locations, and customers. Their commitment goes beyond customer service at the stores through donations and sponsorships in the local communities where they do business.
